On Thursday, January 26 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Crestview will host a presentation focused on providing tools to help your child deal with bullying whether they are a bully, a victim, or a bystander.  Nicole Vitto, an elementary counselor, will lead the presentation. 

Childcare will be provided for school age children.  Children will watch a movie and eat popcorn while parents attend the presentation.

Our school is participating in an exciting program that encourages children to read for fun.  Every student who completes six hours of reading before Monday, February 20, will be eligible for a free admission ticket to Six Flags.  To participate, students record what and how long they read on the reading log.  Your child must complete six hours, 360 minutes, of reading.  Please initial each entry and sign the reading log when complete to verify the reading has been completed.  Completed reading logs should be returned to your child's teacher.

Crestview is participating in the Simi Town Center's Shop Smart program which rewards local elementary schools with gift card prizes of $250 to $2,500.  It's easy to help our school!!  Just log any receipts from stores at the Simi Town Center from September 1 through April 30 by bringing them to guest services, located in center court.  You can also drop your receipts off in the PTA basket in the school office and the PTA will take them to the mall for you.  Crestview receives five points per dollar spent.

Another way to help Crestview earn points is to sign up for Shop Smart email.  Log on to shoppingpartnership.com to register.  Crestview receives 1,000 points for each email.  After you join, you'll receive details to earn an additional 1,000 points for our school.

More bonus points can be earned during the holidays.
